General Dynamics Communications Systems Division, Field Service Specialist/Engineer, Apr. 2002 to Present
Answerable for troubleshooting, repair and testing, depot level overhaul and retrofit of the, Mobile Subscriber Equipment. Working for the MSO Overhaul program. This system consists of Radios, Voice and Data Network systems, a complex computer based tactical, automatic digital telephone and data network system used for Military Command, Control, and Communications. Extensive use of proprietary cable, wire and schematic diagrams in support of the program enables my accomplishments.

General Dynamics Communications Systems Division, Senior Field Service Representative, Oct. 1999 to Apr. 2002
Responsible for troubleshooting, repair and testing of Voice and Data Networks of the, Mobile Subscriber Equipment, for the 22nd Signal Brigade, Systems Integration Branch. I configure and debug multiple commercial and military systems and equipment into the existing MSE system architecture. Provide technical expertise in support of the “Data Package”, delivering C3 data via satellite to deployed systems. Extensive use of proprietary cable, wire and schematic diagrams in support of the mission.

GTE Government Systems, Senior Field Service, May 1998 to Oct. 1999
Currently I am responsible for Mobile Subscriber Equipment MSE field support. Field support is available any time anywhere for all telephone, data and transmission systems. Equipment is maintained in a high state of readiness.

As a technician I was responsible for maintaining a variety of modern electronic communications and computer systems. I have extensive knowledge and experience in the Mobile Subscriber Equipment telephone switches.

GTE Government Systems, Technical Instructor, August 1989 to May1997
I developed training materials such as course outlines, lesson plans, graphic aids, student guides, and laboratory procedures. I presented these and other materials pertaining to telephone switching, database operations and microwave radio networks. I have trained students on Strategic Communications Network (SCN), Red Telephone Switching System (RTSS) and Mobile Subscriber Equipment (MSE) projects.

US Navy Electronics Technician October, 1979 to August, 1989
While assigned to the US Army Signal Center as a Master Training Specialist, I taught electronic repair on communications security and telephony equipment. I supervised the training of all Navy students assigned to these courses. I attended six weeks of Navy Instructor training followed by a two-week course for Army Instructors. During an assignment on the USS Hunley (AS-31), positions included Cryptographic Repair Facility supervisor, Radar department supervisor and Logistics support manager. Technical school graduate for electronics and communications security equipment repair. I also maintained physical security and inventory control for a variety of classified materials. I have received extensive formal training in Analog/Digital electronics, radar principles and repair, communications security equipment maintenance, nuclear threat, damage control and instructor training/curriculum development.
